A Facebook post today by Duluth Police Chief Mike Tusken:
“Officers responded to a disturbance call in the Duluth Heights neighborhood and located a gun used in the disturbance/threats call. The suspect was arrested for 2nd degree assault and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
This is the fourth gun removed from the streets of Duluth this week by patrol and in each incident the common denominator is people who have access or possess guns that shouldn’t. Officers are on the front line responding to weapons calls, removing guns from the street, and holding offenders accountable to maintain community safety.”
